Saanich Peninsula Cohousing - Information Session
Sun, 29 January 2017, 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM PST
Are you curious about cohousing?
Do you value privacy and connection?
Would you live in a town centre on the Saanich Peninsula?
Do you see singles, couples, families with children, and retirees as future neighbours?
Would you like to work with the professionals that have helped complete 7 of BC's cohousing projects?
Saanich Peninsula Cohousing warmly invites you to our third Information Session to learn about, and become involved in, this exciting new project on the Saanich Peninsula. Join Margaret Critchlow (Founder of Harbourside Cohousing, CDC ) and meet the members of our group as we roll up our sleeves and dig in to cohousing.
Cohousing offers an opportunity to live in a high-functioning neighbourhood where people know each other before they move in. Cohousing is most often legally structured as strata title or condominium, which allows for individual ownership of homes and common ownership of shared amenities.
Cohousing buildings are purposefully designed to facilitate a sociable setting that welcomes all age groups, and makes people's lives more convenient, more practical, more economical, more healthy, and more fun.
At this information session you'll hear all about cohousing and our project on the Saanich Peninsula. It's free, it's open too all, so bring your questions and your friends!
Do I need to register? Does it cost anything?
This is a free event. If you click the REGISTER button above and get a free ticket, we'll know how many coffee cups to set out and can get in touch in case there are last minute changes, but it's not required.
Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
No, everyone is welcome
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
Transit is nearby and there is plenty of parking on site.
