This weekend online course focuses on how to properly practice vajrayana methodologies of mantra and visualisation. Learn how to participate in Empowerments and how to use a sadhana.
This course includes a Guru Rinpoche and Yeshe Tsogyal wongkur empowerment. It is offered in-person at Clear Sky Meditation Centre, as well as online from your home.

Meet Your Teachers
Doug Duncan (Qapel) and Catherine Pawasarat Sensei are Dharma and meditation teachers who founded Clear Sky Meditation Centre, BC, Canada.
Achariya Doug Duncan received lay ordination from Namgyal Rinpoche in 1978, and is a lineage holder in that teaching. Known for his direct, humourous and compassionate engagement with students, Doug embraces various traditions, contemporary psychology, and science, to mentor all beings to a more awakened state.
Catherine Pawasarat has trained daily with Acariya Doug Duncan since 1998 in an intensive spiritual apprenticeship that is rare in the modern West. She received lay ordination from Namgyal Rinpoche in 2003. In addition to Buddhist philosophy and its applications to daily life, Catherine also draws on generative living and the arts. With Doug she is co-founder of Clear Sky Retreat Center in the BC Rockies.

Dāna / Generosity
These sessions are offered on the progressive and precious practice of dāna , or generosity. Consciously cultivating dāna practice is a key pillar of spiritual teaching and practice. For more information on the practice of dāna we encourage you to read What is Dāna?
If coming with others please register each individual separately.

-We'd love to see you! Even though you will be online, we appreciate feeling your presence as if you are live with us in the meditation hall. So, please turn on your cameras but keep yourself muted. If you need to move about during class, please turn off your camera temporarily.
You can communicate with the DJ via the chat messenger inside zoom at any time if you have questions for them or the Teachers.
- Download the Zoom app if you have not already. - Arrive 10 minutes early so you can be added to the call without disrupting the actual session.- When you are not directly asking your question, make sure you are on mute and not distracting attention in any other way (eating, drinking, moving around etc.).- Have a light source directed towards your face so everyone can see you. Please avoid being backlit.
