Description

If you work in a restaurant, daycare or group home or volunteer at your local arena or charity food service event you should attend this fun and interactive SAFE FOOD HANDLING COURSE.

Your certification needs to be renewed every 5 years.

COURSE COST IS $100 PLUS GST.

This course is instructed by a certified PUBLIC HEALTH INSPECTOR with over 25 years of experience in food safety education and food safety audits. This course meets all the Requirements of Sections 25 and 26 Of the Saskatchewan Food Safety Regulations and Public Eating Establishment Standards which requires staff to have a Safe Food Handling Certificate which needs to be renewed every 5 years. This course is also recognized throughout Saskatchewan and on Both sides of Lloydminster

Upon successful completion of this course you will receive a certificate and will be registered in the Saskatchewan Provincial Student Database.

What's the refund policy?

Refunds will be issued up to 7 days prior to the event and are subject to approval by the event organizer.

What happens if a course is cancelled?

Courses may be cancelled in there is insufficient registration, instructor availability or due to adverse weather conditions. Registered individuals will be notified of course cancellations via the email address used during your registration. Cancellations may also be posted on the Facebook page at "https://www.facebook.com/safefoodhandling.ca/" and on the website at www.safefoodhandling.ca. You could also contact Roger the instructor at (306) 441-4061 for additional Information.

Students will have the option to reschedule for an alternate date or have their fees for a cancelled course refunded.

What do I need to bring to the course?

Please bring your smile, a pen and a highlighter to the course.

Is this course valid in Alberta?

This course is recognized in all of Saskatchewan and both sides of Lloydminster.

I also teach a nationally recognized class through CanSafe Safety in Lloydminster. You can register for that class by calling them at 1-800-318-2152.

What time zone is applicable?

The course start and end times will be the same as the local time where the course is to be held.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

The typical minimum age requirement is 13 years of age. Please contact the course organizer at Roger@safefoodhandling.ca if you have any questions.

What happens if I fail the class?

You will be given an opportunity to rewrite the exam at a future course date. The cost for rewrites is $25 + GST and is subject to the approval of the event organizer.
