Description

DESCRIPTION

SafeGrowth Training comprises two intensive 2-day workshops. The workshops bookend a team project tackling real-life problems in neighbourhoods where participants work and live.

After the first two days of the Part 1 preliminary workshop, the participants will divide into teams of 4 or 5 persons and select a real life problem and then spend the next several weeks working to resolve it. Following your fieldwork you will bring your results back for the Part 2 workshop to present your results, obtain feedback and learning how to sustain this work in the long term.

This two day, two part, plus field work training is free to City of Grande Prairie staff and residents, participants from outside of the City will be required to pay $750 for the course which will be invoiced prior to the training. Anyone who registers and does not show up, whether City resident or not, will also be charged a no show fee of $750. Space is limited, so register early!
