Description

This course builds on the "Safety Leadership in Action" online training. This face to face session is designed to introduce learners to Pembina's safety resources through interactive activities and hands-on learning.

Audience: The audience for the face to face session is District Managers, Supervisors, Foremen, and SSER Advisors.

Course Goal:

Employees and contractors who complete this course will understand their role as a Pembina Safety leader, and will take personal responsibility for having "zero incidents."

Course Outcomes:

After completing this course, learners will be able to:

1. Define Pembina's safety culture.

2. Explain your role and responsibilities as a Safety Leader at Pembina.

3. Describe the legal and regulatory documents applicable to your role.

4. Describe when and why to use a hazard assessment.

5. Create a thoroughly completed 'Task Hazard Assessment (THA)'.

6. Explain the importance of completing incident investigations.
