MART Presents Elaine Orsini (The Centre for Mindfulness Studies – Toronto, Ontario)
This insightful introduction to mindfulness and its application for those in the education field will incorporate an explanation of the neuroscience and research behind mindfulness while highlighting the effectiveness of personal training. This one day workshop will guide the participants through a number of self-care tools designed specifically for educators and share tangible strategies that can be immediately implemented in all schools.
At the conclusion of this thoughtful day you will have greater knowledge about the fundamental concepts of mindfulness and the attitudes that support mindfulness. Resources on mindfulness will be reviewed and participants will learn more about the myriad of applications of mindfulness in education.
