Event description
Pemberton & District Public Library and the Village of Pemberton presents a screening of "Sam & Me"

About this event

Pemberton & District Public Library and the Village of Pemberton present a screening of the film "Sam & Me" and an information session about the Village of Pemberton's Community Climate Action Plan.

About the movie:

Sam Tierney was in a dark place. At 13 years old, his anxiety about climate change was so bad that he was having trouble sleeping at night. In an attempt to ease his stress, Sam wrote to Mike Douglas, pro skier and climate advocate, asking for his advice. Seeing some of his own young self in Sam, Mike suggested a weekly ski meet-up to talk about climate change, skiing and life.
