The workshop is completed by a guided meditation.

About Don...

In 2015, I became a Certified Meditation Teacher through Lifestyle Meditation. I studied under Mandy Trapp who is a Vedic Master & Founder of Lifestyle Meditation.

Meditation has been a part of my life since 2010 when I was looking for another option to manage my PTSD, after being in the army, that didn't involve medication. On recommendation, I attended my first Vipassana Retreat and recognized the benefits to my personal well being immediately. Knowing what meditation has done for me, I now want to share my experience to help others.

About Erica...

I have obtained both my Learn to Teach - 25hr Certified Meditation Teacher Training and Love to Teach 200hr Meditation Teacher Training through Lifestyle Meditation. I studied under Mandy Trapp, a Vedic Master, who is the Co-Founder of Lifestyle Meditation and trained under Deepok Chopra.

I am a retired X-Ray and Ultrasound Technologist, who has worked in many facets of the industry. I've worked in a Trauma Centre, Penitentiaries, Private Clinics and alongside the Military, as a Public Servant. I have also worked as a Registered Professional Recruiter and as a Client Care Specialist for VCA Canada Animal Clinics.

Looking back over the years, I struggled with depression on a regular basis but didn't understand it, nor wanted help for it. In 2007, my depression worsened, which led to insomnia and eventually debilitating migraines. All of these were due to a lack of self care from a combination of my professional and personal lifestyle. I was put on medication to alleviate the symptoms, however, I quickly learned that I struggled with the side effects of the medication and wanted another alternative. Through the teachings of mindfulness and meditation I began to feel a shift, realizing my regular self care practice was helping me manage my mental and physical well being. It was another couple of years before I was able to come off all medication, however when the time came, I knew I was mentally prepared to begin living my life to the fullest potential.

I believe in this life journey of sharing my experiences alongside my meditation practice in order to help others.

I'm often asked why I teach meditation and my answer is simple..."because I believe that everyone deserves to find peace and balance in their life."
