The Sapphic Writers team has set up an ongoing space for informal connecting, chats, and collective writing & editing, and we’d love to see you there!

Participating in NaNoWriMo? Our two November Sapphic Soirées be a halfway-thru-NaNoWriMo and end-of-NaNoWriMo check-ins, with discussion about what writing habits and strategies have been working for you, space to bounce ideas around for anyone who wants to talk about their WIPs, a timed word-sprint, and a writing prompt for anyone feeling stuck.

Stay tuned for future regular soirees in the new year, on our alternating biweekly schedule:

On the Friday meet-up days, we’ll do writing prompts and share space to write together, talk about what we’re working on, help each other with any challenges we’re facing.

The Saturday meet-ups will be more structured feedback circles, for those who’d like to get input on their work or help others through their editing process. If you have a piece you’d like group feedback on, message @Julia DaSilva or email it to sapphicwritersonline@gmail.com (mention “Feedback Circle”) in the subject line!) and we’ll include it in a google doc to be shared in this event page the week leading up to the next Saturday meet-up. Everyone in the group is welcome to read the doc and attend the feedback circle, whether you have work being edited or not!
