About this Event
Sarah Segal-Lazar is an award-winning performer and singer-songwriter. Though she has previously lived amidst the busy streets of New York and Montreal, she is happy to call the red shores of PEI home. Blending folk and country, reviewers have called her songs "simply mesmerizing" and "so gorgeous, they made the air go still."
In addition to her solo album "Two if by Sea," Sarah has worked with artists across North America, from death metal in Kentucky to jazz in Greenwich Village to her own country-fusion band The Plaidversaries.
Folks might also know Sarah as the Founding Festival Director of the Island Fringe. When not writing folk songs, Sarah can be found working on her documentary musical CHEW or drinking her weight in tea.
Growing up in rural Prince Edward Island, Dave Woodside has been engulfed in music his entire life.
A product of his upbringing and influences, Dave's take on a combination of folk, rock and blues is something to be heard. Playing hundreds of shows honing his trade, Woodside is making big moves with his original content
