Caring for Saskatchewan Families Coping with Perinatal Loss with Internationally renowned expert, author, and speaker Sherokee Ilse

Perinatal Loss Conference theme is the creation of connected care for bereaved parents and families within a seamless health system.

The conference creates a collaboration of bereaved parents, families, and health care providers and the objectives are:

  • To present an overview of care provided with bereaved parents during perinatal loss
  • To present perinatal loss standards of care and creative initiatives that can be incorporated into grief and loss care practices
  • To promote the delivery of comprehensive, compassionate care to each family coping with perinatal loss
  • To build skills and improve practice with grief and loss
  • To learn from families regarding what is helpful and what people, specifically healthcare professionals could do better
  • To provide an opportunity for networking and increase awareness of the impact of perinatal loss in the health authority and capacity building for communities to learn from each other.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

There is paid parking available at all sites. Other options for parking include the use of staff parksing or on street parking. There may be restrictions in place for parking, please be aware of signage.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

Your ticket must be presented to gain access into the venue and recognized as attending to receive a professional development certificate. If utilizing a Webex link the individual participant must sign on to receive a professional development certificate.

Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?

The conference fees are non-refundable. If you are unable to attend please contact the conference organizer to arrage for transfer to another individual. Please inform the conference organizer if unable to attend the conference so that these seats can be made available to others wishing to attend.
