Description

Special Breakfast with Bill Adsit
HOW A FIRST NATIONS BUSINESS LEADER OVERCAME ADVERSITY TO BUILD A MULTI-MILLION DOLLAR BUSINESS
Integrating business, life and faith

For his first 5 years of life Bill Adsit was exposed to a violent father and two alcoholic parents. From age 5 to 15 he was in a residential school in the Yukon year round. He went on to serve 38 years in the Canadian military and several different departments within the Government of Canada before assuming a leadership role with his own band, the Tahltan First Nation. While he was President and CEO of the Tahltan Nation Development Corporation, he established 30 joint venture operations with Canadian corporations, and gross revenue grew from 9 million per annum to more than 55 million.

Today, Bill is a Business Development Officer for Arrow Transport Systems and a board member for BC Hydro. Join us to hear how Bill moved past deep hurts and anger to achieve great success in his professional and personal life. “God has given me the power to change my life! To forgive and move on when you get hurt badly is not something one can do simply out of human strength.
