Public Health directives now permit us to have 100 people at Mass, if they are divided into 2 distinct groups of 50. These groups must stay completely separate; before, during, and after Mass so that Public Health can more easily do contact tracing should an issue with COVID-19 arise.

When you register, please note which group you registered for so you know which door to enter and please begin to arrive at least 20 minutes before Mass time. The Church will not open until one half hour before Mass begins. Church doors will be locked at Mass time and no late admittance will be granted.

If you register for the EAST GROUP (St. Peter’s Rd), please use the MAIN front doors of the Church to enter. The East Group will sit on the left side (from the Church foyer) of the Church.

If you register for the WEST GROUP (St. Pius X Ave.), use the side entrance on the Parking lot side to enter (main side door next to elevator room). The WEST Group will sit on the right side (from the Church foyer) of the Church.

The area will be clearly marked. You will be greeted outside by an usher and another usher inside will guide you to sit with your group. The Church will not open until one half hour before Mass begins.

General Guidance on attending Church

IF YOUR ANSWER IS “Yes” TO ANY OF THE FOLLOWING QUESTIONS, YOU SHOULD NOT COME TO CHURCH AT THIS TIME. CALL 811 IF YOU ARE IN NEED OF HEALTH ADVICE.

1. Are you experiencing any of these symptoms of COVID-19:

fever, chills; cough—new or worsened; sore throat; runny nose; shortness of breath or difficulty breathing; marked tiredness; muscle/ body aches; headache, sudden loss of taste or smell?

2. Have you had close contact (face-to-face within 6 ft.) with someone who is ill with any of the above symptoms?

3. Have you or anyone in your household been in contact in the last 14 days with someone under investigation or confirmed to have COVID-19?

4. Have you travelled outside PEI—other than to NS, NB, or NL—in the past 14 days or are you in self-isolation?
