What better way to finish off the winter season then with the 19th edition of the Saudan Couloir Ski Race Extreme presented by Helly Hansen.

The extreme race of legend and lore, it will bring out legends of ski and snowboard racing, big mountain pros, and a healthy dose of amateur skiers and snowboarders who aren’t afraid to charge.

With over 2500 Vertical Feet of Thigh Burning Hell! Quite possibly the steepest ski race in the world, this is a true test of fitness, skill, balance and courage!

Schedule

April 14th

7:00pm - 9:00pm - Check in and Bib pick-up - Longhorn Saloon Whistler with live music from Red Chair.

April 15th

7:30am - 8:30am - Late Check-in at Blackcomb Daylodge

9:30am - 10:15am - Partial Course Inspection (Bibs Mandatory) Saudan Couloir - accessible from 7th Heaven Chair

10:35am - Course Sweeper leaves start to clear the course. Athletes start to clear course.

10:45am - Forerunners Start - all competitors off course.

11:00am - Race Start Time. Racers will run in bib number order. Start interval is 1 min.

7:00pm - 9:00pm - Awards Party - Après Après - Feel free to stay on and party afterwards!
