Schubert & Ice Cream: Viola & Piano Concert

The Clearly Musical Home Concert Series features local musicians in up-close experiences in the Heart of Richmond Hill. You will have the opportunity to clearly see and hear the musicians and ask questions to learn more about the music, performance techniques and the performers! Everyone Gets a Front Row Seat!
Velma Ko can be seen on the stage of the RHCPA playing Principal Viola with the Richmond Hill Philharmonic Orchestra. She has been a violin teacher, public school teacher and a freelance musician in many Canadian cities as well as session presenter at American String Teacher's Association conferences. Velma is active as a freelance musician in orchestras and chamber music groups and volunteers for many senior organizations.
Pianist Joanna Grace was selected as the "Emerging Creative Talent" for Richmond Hill in 2016. She received a national teaching award in the U.S. for "excellence in teaching, outstanding studio development and dedication to music education".
EVENT DETAILS: Please arrive between 7:30 and 7:50 pm. No latecomers are permitted. The private residence address (in the Heart of Richmond Hill) and free parking details will be sent upon advance seat purchase of $30 incl. HST. Seating options include Front Row Seats and Front Row "Balcony" Seats (cushioned bar stools with back rests and foot rests). Following the concert there is a Question & Answer period for learning more about the performers and the music & a Reception with Ice Cream. The event concludes at 9:30 pm.
These concerts are made possible through a Cultural grant from the Town of Richmond Hill.

1) Who is this event best suited for?
Age 12 and up are welcome to attend. This event requires sitting attentively and quietly for 1 hour at a time. This event is best suited for those interested in the arts and being up close to see and hear clearly.
2) What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
Free street parking is available. Close to Yonge Street, this Richmond Hill home is accessible by public transport. Details are sent with your RSVP and payment. Please be aware that this location is not wheelchair accessible and has steps to the front door and also to the washroom inside. If you have challenges with stairs, please communicate your concerns with the organizer before purchasing a ticket.
3) Can I purchase a ticket at the door?
No, there are no ticket sales at the door. Because this a private residence and an intimate up-close experience, all seats must be reserved in advance.
4) What's the refund policy?
