Event description

Description

Interested in gaining international experience in Germany? Schulich students have the opportunity to apply for a summer research or internship placement at some of the top universities and companies in the world - a great experience for students wishing to gain international experience for future competitive career/educational opportunities, while also immersing themselves in German culture.

This session will introduce summer research programs at Technische Universität Berlin, Technische Universität Dresden, the German Academic Exchange Service's RISE (Research in Science & Engineering) program, and the Alberta Saxony International Internship Alliance - which are unique opportunities open to Schulich majors. It will include a panel of past participants as well as a short presentation designed to give a bit of background and details for the different programs and experiences, application tips, and advice for your time abroad. There will also be a Q&A with past students.

Program deadlines, eligibility information, and cost/funding information can be found on the individual program pages using our program finder. Applications open Nov. 1st for all Summer 2018 programs and close based on individual deadlines.

This session is strongly recommended for anyone wishing to apply to any of these programs.
