When & Where
University of Toronto & Treehouse Group
The University of Toronto's goal with Science Engagement is to facilitate its scientists' engagement with the community, in order to share the excitement of their new discoveries and the challenges of the scientific process, as well as to inspire kids and to encourage innovation.
Founded in 2007, the Treehouse Group is a Toronto-based, multi-disciplinary group of young professionals who curate interactive panels, conferences, and events. Our workshops are hands-on, and emphasize collaboration and creativity. We have an eclectic speakers list including artists, constitutional lawyers, biologists, and indie gamers.
We believe that bringing different perspectives to industry events allows for meaningful connections, and environments in which great ideas flourish.
