Event Details

The Faculty of Science is pleased to announce that we will be offering summer teaching skills workshops for science academic staff through June, July and August of 2013. Workshops will run every two weeks over the summer and cover a wide variety of teaching topics. The goal of these 2-hour workshops is to provide faculty members an opportunity for teaching skills development as well as collaborating with colleagues across the Faculty of Science. The majority of time in each workshop is spent working on activities and small group discussions. There are three teaching themes for the 2013 summer workshops: Teaching Assessment; Teaching Science Scientifically, and Planning for Fall.
