Event description

Description

This event is for you if you want to connect with patients, community organizations, researchers, clinicians, health systems workers and others interested in patient-oriented research. The Saskatchewan Centre for Patient-Oriented Research (SCPOR) is sponsoring this event for attendees to create new connections and spark new ideas with others interested in patient-oriented research.

The event will feature a short introduction to patient-oriented research, a patient-oriented research story followed by a networking exercise that will give you a chance to meet patients, community organizations, researchers, clinicians, health system workers and others interested in patient-oriented research.

The doors will remain open following the formal event to allow for open networking. Light snacks will be provided.

DEADLINE FOR REGISTRATION: November 16, 2018

Patient and Family Advisor Honoraria:

Patient and family advisors as well as volunteers with lived experience from community organizations may be eligible for honoraria in recognition of time and costs incurred to attend the event. Patient and family advisors are individuals who have recent experiences with the Saskatchewan health care system as a client, resident, patient or family member. They volunteer their time to provide their perspectives and input into the delivery of healthcare services, research, policies and facility design.

If you would like to learn more about honoraria or have questions about the event, please contact Charlene Haver, SCPOR Methods Platform Lead: charlene.haver@usask.ca
