On May 29, 2015 musica intima is hosting our annual season soireé at Van Dusen Gardens.
Join us for an unforgettable evening of song and celebration at the elegant VanDusen Botanical Garden. Discover the many flavours of musica intima with our alumni octet and Chef Michael Speier’s "tapas botanicas" menu bursting with bright and fun flavours.
This year, our award-winning ensemble is raising funds to support initiatives such as our week-long summer vocational program, which is running in August and will serve youth ages 18-26 studying classical music. Designed to share our processes with young ensemble singers, the program helps emerging singers to build the key musical and vocational skills required to work as a musician today.
Heralded by the Georgia Straight as “the year’s best fundraiser,” musica intima’s irresistibly intimate season soirée is sure to engage all senses.
*GARDEN ENTRY IS INCLUDED WITH EACH TICKET,and we invite our guests to tour the beautiful garden grounds starting at 6:00pm! Doors to the soireé (located in Woodland Hall) open at 6:30 PM.
The evening includes a fabulous silent auction showcasing Vancouver’s top businesses and arts organizations. In addition to $25 balloon bids on goodies and gift cards dispersed throughout the hall, this year's silent auction features arts adventure packages starting at $150 and features items from the following sponsors:
“It was an entertaining, well-paced evening with just enough wine and music…It felt terrific.”
