Description

SEAWEED ECOLOGY & PRESSING

I’m VERY excited to announce that I will be hosting another seaweed pressing workshop led by the lovely Dana Mulder (Instagram: @strawberryblondedana)!

Dana will start with a short talk about some of the different seaweed varieties, ecology, and tips around ethical collecting & harvesting. Then we’ll learn how to press and preserve some special varieties of seaweeds that she will be bringing back with her from a trip to Galiano Island!

You will create 3 mounted pieces, made from a variety of beeaauutiful West Coast seaweed specimens of different shapes, colours & sizes!

Space is limited so please be sure to register early.

All materials, tea & sparkling water will be provided.

PUNCH CARDS

Please note that this is a special event and does not qualify for punch card registrations!

PLEASE NOTE

When registering for one of my workshops you will be automatically added to my Hey Shauna Art Therapy mailing list. But you can opt out at any time!

REGISTRATION & CANCELLATION

REGISTRATION: Pre-registration is required before attending a workshop as the groups are small.

CANCELLATION: You have up to 3 days prior to the workshop date to receive a full refund, though registration IS transferrable if you’d like to gift your spot to someone – please just let me know in advance. ALSO, I’m a reasonable person, if you find yourself unable to attend and the thought of losing your registration fee is at all debilitating, please get in touch with me.
