Join us for Winnipeg's Second Annual Superhero Brunch and Training Academy in support of The Frosting Foundation! By enjoying a fun day with your little superheroes, you will be helping to spread birthday cheer to children in hospital.

Your ticket includes a brunch buffet of scrambled eggs, pancakes and maple syrup, smoked Canadian bacon, hashbrowns, fresh-baked croissants, danishes, mini muffins, coffee, tea, apple and orange juice. Following brunch, you and your little superhero will have access to the Superhero Training Academy. At the Academy, you and your child will visit several stations where you will complete tasks such as the Brick Smasher, Mega Muscles and The Code Cracker. Practice superhero flight skills in the Bouncy Castle, get a special disguise at the Face Painting Station, and so many more! When you and your little superhero have completed your training, your child will receive a special certificate and Superhero Swag Bag confirming their graduation from the Academy. There will be opportunities to interact with and have pictures taken with your favourite superheroes, and so much more!

Everyone is encouraged to wear their favourite superhero costume, superhero colours or superhero t-shirt! A Marketplace will be available to purchase superhero themed items. You can also participate in our auction for a chance to win some amazing prizes!


What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

We recommend parking in the Victoria Inn east lot, and using the Barrie Street entrance. There is ample free parking!

Is my registration/ticket transferrable?

Yes, you can transfer your tickets to someone else if you are unable to attend. Please note that adult tickets can only be transferred to another adult, and child tickets can only be transferred to another child.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

You can either bring a printed copy of the ticket, or you can show your ticket on your smartphone.

What is the refund policy?

Due to the nature of the charitable event, no refunds will be provided.

The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay?

Yes, that's fine! Your tickets are transferrable, and there is no need to change the name on the ticket.

Does each person in attendance require a ticket?

Yes, adults and children each require a ticket. The adult tickets covers the cost of the adult brunch buffet, and the child's ticket covers the cost of the child brunch buffet as well as the Superhero Training Academy. Any remaining proceeds go directly to The Frosting Foundation to provide Birthday Boxes for children in hospital.

Am I required to stay with my child during the event?

Yes, children require adult supervision throughout the brunch and Training Academy Stations.

I don't have children. Can I still come and support?

Yes, we'd love to see you! In addition to supporting us with the purchase of your brunch ticket, we will have a rainbow auction full of amazing prizes including Jets tickets and gift cards for dinner out at restaurants such as The Keg! You will also have the option to purchase a Birthday Box in a theme of your choosing, that will be donated to a child spending their birthday in hospital.

My child is one and a half. Are we required to pay for their ticket?

No, babies and toddlers are free until their second Birthday!

Should we get there early?

Doors will open at 9:30 am, for those in the first brunch seating at 10 am. If you arrive at 9:30 am, you will be able to check-in, take a photo at the selfie booth, browse the Marketplace and do a few of the self-guided Training Academy Stations such as Find Your Superhero Name and the Colouring Station. All other stations will be open at 10:30 am. If you have tickets for the 11 am seating, you are welcome to attend the Training Academy Stations between 10:30 am and 11 am, and to return to the Academy following your brunch.

What time should we be in the dining room?

If you have tickets for the 10 am seating, please be seated in the dining room as close to 10 am as possible. If you are in the 11 am seating, please arrive in the dining room as close to 11 am as possible.

What forms of payment are accepted in the Marketplace?

We can accept cash or credit in the Marketplace. This includes the purchase of tickets for the rainbow auction, as well as the 'Donate a Birthday Box' station.
