About this Event

The Human Rights & Discrimination Circle of the Calgary Indigenous Sharing Network (CISN) will be hosting FIVE Learning Circles on how to incorporate human rights principles enshrined in United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (UNDRIP) articles and the Truth and Reconciliation Commission (TRC) calls to action into our organizations and systems.

Seeking Justice for Indigenous People in the legal system

This first of five learning circles focuses on the Justice system, and the impacts of racism and discrimination in work and personal environments. This session targets those working in the justice service sector and will foster a learning & sharing environment through creating safe, ethical space for dialogue, interactive activity, followed by lunch.
