Event description

Description

Can George Costanza and Cosmo Kramer be held accountable for the damage they caused the unfortunate whale in "The Marine Biologist" episode?

Come find out at the second annual "literary moot" brought to you by McCarthy Tétrault LLP and the University of Calgary Faculty of Law!

Part courtroom drama, part improv-comedy, and part Seinfeld - this mock trial will put Kramer and George on the stand and have them questioned by practicing Calgary lawyers.

Not only will this event be a blast, but all proceeds from our sponsors' generous contributions and the sale of tickets will be donated to the John Howard Society's Learning and Literacy program! This program is a free service that gives individuals who have been affected by poverty and crime the opportunity to improve their literacy as a way to develop confidence, knowledge, and employment-related skills.

So, come and see your favourite Seinfeld characters cross-examined by some of the wittiest lawyers in Calgary, and raise money for an amazing cause while doing it!
