Event description

Description

Self-care 'n Sisterhood is a monthly gathering for black women to have open dialogue about our journeys, share our wins, our challenges and our self-care resources. To hold space + each other accountable in our individual and collective growth. Other activities may include: #veryblack games, meditation, writing (journal) prompts, a creative exercise, and an accountability partner exchange. Bring a sister friend for a Queens Night Out, or come meet/make new ones!

Our January session will focus on: how to push through self-sabotage. As we create goals for 2018, how do we also plan to hold ourselves accountable; to overcome resistance aka self-sabotage? Are we considering what the alternative to not achieve our goals are? Well...let's talk about it sis!

Refreshments (light dinner + wine) will be provided. Please bring a journal with you + be prepared to share your favorite go-to audio coach. When you're less than joyful what helps lift your spirits? What motivates you? (podcasts, music, audiobook, tedtalk suggestions etc)

Ps - funds acquired from ticket sales go towards supplies + refreshments for the following sessions. Think of it as an act of paying it forward.

See you soon sis!
