Event description

Description

Self-care 'n Sisterhood is a monthly gathering for black women to have open dialogue about our journeys, share our wins, our challenges and our self-care resources. To hold space + each other accountable in our individual and collective growth. Other activities may include: #veryblack games, meditation, writing (journal) prompts, a creative exercise, and an accountability partner exchange. Bring a sister friend for a Queens Night Out, or come meet/make new ones!

Our *March session will focus on: Realigning on Purpose. In our session we will be exploring the following questions: when we find ourselves out of balance or out of focus, how do we get back in alignment with our vision/purpose? What resources are we taping into to remind us of the beauty of being in process? Do you find yourself often out of focus? Are you keen on always 'going with the flow'?

Well...let's talk about it sis!

Refreshments will be provided. Please bring a journal with you + be prepared to share your favorite activity or exercise you engage in to centre/ground yourself (besides meditation/yoga)

Funds acquired from ticket sales go towards supplies + refreshments for the following sessions. Think of it as an act of paying it forward.

See you soon sis,

Igho Diana

*The space is on the second floor, and therefore not accessible at this time--I apologize for the inconvenience.

*PLEASE NOTE: there is no session for February, our third session has been postponed till March 25
