This two-hour workshop will cover practical advice about where to start, how to budget, available resources, and more. Leave with an idea of how you can produce a play in Fort McMurray!

About the facilitator

Originally from Sweden, Fridhed is an actor, director, and communicator, and she currently works as the Engagement Coordinator for Arts Council Wood Buffalo. Since moving to Fort McMurray in 2013, she has organized both regional and provincial one-act theatre festivals, directed and produced several plays, and supports theatre in our region as the Secretary of the Board for Alberta Drama Festival Association (ADFA), and Secretary of the Board for Theatre Alberta. Hanna is the Artistic Director of Theatre; Just Because.

COVID-19 precautions

Theatre; Just Because is dedicated to keeping our facilitators and participants as safe as possible at our workshops and other events. We ask that everyone attending adheres to the AHS, facility, and TJB guidelines:

• Anyone attending a TJB event is required to wear a face mask.
• Maintain physical distancing (6 feet) when possible.
• Hand sanitizer will be available.
• No lingering/grouping in hallways or outside classrooms.
• Anyone showing signs of being ill with flu-like symptoms will NOT be permitted to attend.
