Selling Through Storytelling

Agencies have two huge disadvantages when it comes to winning new business. First, they lack a sales culture, leaving the poor soul in charge of business development with little training or support. Second, agencies deal in the abstract—and abstract things are hard to sell.

Luckily, there’s a way out of this dilemma and it stems from an innate ability we were all born with: the power to tell a good story. No special sales skills needed.

Plus, stories are tools that foster genuine connection. Mastering storytelling as a form of persuasion will help you build trust, demonstrate your value, and differentiate your agency from competitors. Especially when selling complex products and services, your stories help you answer the crucial question: why should a client choose your agency over another?

YOU WILL LEARN:

  • Storytelling fundamentals & frameworks
  • The science behind persuasive storytelling
  • How to find - and tell - the stories that are waiting to be told
  • An easy technique for turning almost any agency new business boilerplate into a compelling narrative
  • How to tell a story in writing & as a presentation

WHO SHOULD ATTEND:
This workshop is ideal for anyone responsible for winning new business at their agency but who also dislike "selling" (as they know it) and struggle to differentiate their firm.  Agency Leads, New Business Leads & Client Leads.
