About this Event

Bioinformatics and Neuroinformatics are emerging interdisciplinary fields combining biology, neuroscience, computer science, mathematics and statistics to analyze and interpret biological and neurological data. STEM Fellowship and GSGGB will be hosting the "Bioinformatics & Neuroinformatics Unravelled" seminar for anyone who is interested in learning more about these exciting areas of study. Attendees will receive a general overview of what bioinformatics and neuroinformatics entail and an introduction to current developments in using software tools to understand countless datasets. The speakers will be available to answer any general questions and talk about the many opportunities in these fields. If you are interested in exploring bioinformatics and neuroinformatics, join us for a fun, informative night on September 24 from 4:30-6:00pm in the Alice Moulton Room on the second floor of Gerstein Science Information Centre!
