Seneca Coalesce 2017

Celebrate the works of Seneca College’s School of Creative Arts and Animation 2017 graduating class at Seneca Coalesce: Opus.
Seneca Coalesce is the annual gallery showcase of new works produced by Seneca’s new graduates in interactive media, illustration, photography, graphic design, art fundamentals, acting, documentary filmmaking, four animation programs, and highlighting past films from SCAA’s summer institutes in animation and documentary filmmaking. Both showcase, and celebration, it is an opportunity for professionals and practicing artists to meet the talented graduates from these programs.
Highlights of this year’s show:
- Virtual reality new works by students in Interactive Media Design
- Live performances throughout the evening by Seneca music students
- Screening of DAM! The Story of Kit the Beaver, directed by Kjell Boersma with original score by Erica Procunier, animated by Seneca students which recently premiered at Roy Thompson Hall
- Exhibition of award-winning virtual reality exhibit Small Wonders: The VR Experience, produced by the Canadian Film Centre’s Media Lab (CFC Media Lab) and Seneca College School of Creative Art & Animation for the Art Gallery of Ontario
