Description

Seniors Mental Health is a 2-day evidence based, interactive curriculum open to all healthcare providers who support seniors. The focus is on increasing learners' knowledge and provides care strategies related to dementia, delirium, anxiety, depression, psychotic disorders and personality disorders. This course is recommended but not limited to the following healthcare providers Nurse; Personal Support Worker; Occurpational Therapist; Social Worker; Recreational Therapist.

Price includes: 2 day workshop and all related materials, continental breakfast and light refreshments @ break both days.

Training Location: Banquet Hall - (Access to the training room is on the lower level via the sidedoor off Peter Street.) This is accessbile from the parking lot BEHIND the church.

  • 8:00 - 8:30 AM - Continental Breakfast will be available.

  • 8:30 AM Sharp - Course will begin.

Parking: Visitor parking is available directly behind the church off Peter Street or across the street in the Municipal Parking lot.


DAY 3 - MAY 1, 2019 IS RESTRICTED TO REGULATED HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONALS ONLY! SEPARATE REGISTRATION WILL BE REQUIRED.
