Event description

Description

SFU Omics is proud to offer our first ever workshop with our guest host: Martin Krzywinski!

Sense and Sensibility : Visual Design Principles for Scientific Data

The workshop distills core concepts of information design and data visualization into practical guidelines for creating scientific figures. Topics include use of color, information flow for data, process and concept figures. Published and submitted examples will be used to concretely illustrate concepts and show the process of redesign and editing a figure.
