About this Event

Young people will soon be facing the challenges associated with climate change, especially if current trends continue around the globe. The younger generation is not waiting. They are taking action now. In the September GreenScreen Film, Inventing Tomorrow, prepare to meet the leaders of the future, addressing local climate change issues with science.

"Meet passionate teenage innovators from around the globe who are creating cutting-edge solutions to confront the world’s environmental threats – found right in their own backyards – while navigating the doubts and insecurities that mark adolescence. Take a journey with these inspiring teens as they prepare their projects for the largest convening of high school scientists in the world, the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF) a program of Society for Science & the Public."

The film will be followed by special guest speaker Julie Johnson, the Co-creator of the Change Agents Program at Shanty Bay Public School! Julie will be speaking about the Change Agents Program with some of her students and Change Agents!
