About this event
As Canada and British Columbia pursue opportunities to reduce greenhouse gases, business and industry are examining their roles and responsibilities in the world's effort to decarbonize. With a clean electricity grid, local innovation and robust regulatory structures, British Columbia has an opportunity to make an outsized impact in the global fight against climate change both locally, and abroad.
The next event in the Business Council of B.C.'s ESG in B.C. series, taking place Thursday, October 7th, and presented in partnership with Deloitte, will explore opportunities to reduce local emissions through infrastructure networks. We will also look at our province's low carbon advantage as the producer of lower carbon-intensive natural resources for the global export market.
Registration is now open for the fourth session on October 7th. Visit ESGinBC.ca to learn more about the series.
