Event description
We invite you to join us for a 75 minute virtual focus group to provide insight on your experience and hopes for Strides Toronto.

About this event

PLEASE NOTE THIS FOCUS GROUP WAS ORIGINALLY SCHEDULED FOR AUG 24th BUT HAS BEEN MOVED TO SEPT 3rd.

Strides Toronto has begun a robust process to develop the first strategic plan for the newly integrated organization. Over the next five months, we will be reaching out to our staff, our client families, youth, partners, and members of our local community to gather perspectives on the roles Strides Toronto could play to improve the experiences of families and youth in east Toronto.

As one of the first steps in our process we are inviting families who participate in our programs or who have an interest in participating in the planning for the future of Strides Toronto to join this 75 minute focus group (called “pollination session”) hosted on Zoom. During the focus group, we will explore current experiences with our programming at Strides Toronto (or Aisling or EMYS), needs of families we serve, and hopes for how we support families to thrive in the coming years.

To participate, please click on the REGISTER button. The session will be held online via Zoom and the connection information will be sent to you a few days in advance of the session. If you do not have a computer available to you, the connection information will include a phone number so that you can choose to call in using a phone line.

If you are unable to participate there are many other ways to contribute. In the coming weeks you will have opportunity to answer big questions posted on our website, and in the fall, we will be offering an opportunity to participate in one of three half day planning sessions called “Strategy Hives.” Stay tuned for more information on these engagement opportunities.
