Event description

Description

Comprehensive Sex Education (CSE) is a highly controversial, “rights-based” approach to sex education that encompasses a great deal more than just teaching children and youth about sexual intercourse and human reproduction. Developed primarily in the U.S., CSE is now being implemented in most countries around the world, and here in Ontario, Canada.

The Ontario sex ed curriculum is based on CSE, but the Ministry of Ed is allowing parents and students to opt-out of offensive content.

This seminar covers:

  • What is Comprehensive Sex Education?
  • Why it is so controversial/offensive for people of faith (and many others)?
  • Research that proves CSE does not reduce teen sex
  • A new Sexual Risk Avoidance approach that fits the learning needs of faith children… tested and proven to reduce teen sexual activity
  • Ensuring your child/youth gets accurate instruction about sexuality
  • Tools toeffectively communicate the learning needs of your child so you can opt-out / be accommodated

And Much More!!!
