About this event
The Purpose of This Event
This event, organized by The City of Edmonton Youth Council (CEYC), serves the purpose of educating the youth of Edmonton about sexual violence all walks of people are victim to, the growing concern in our communities, preventative measures, and how to access various support systems.
Our event includes a Sexual Violence Presentation delivered by the Saffron Centre and a professional workshop focusing on healing and coping with trauma. We will end the evening with an Art Night, including food and drinks, dedicated to the aftercare of our audience. This initiative aims to spark a conversation about the effects of sexual violence in the community which remains a heavily stigmatised topic to this day. All youth ages 13-23 are encouraged to attend.
Donations
In regards to donations, please note that attendees are encouraged to donate to the Saffron Centre. Attendees can also make a donation during the time of the event as well.
