Description

CS Research Day is a great opportunity to see the work that graduate students are doing in SFU's School of Computing Science. Join us for lunch and a chance to connect with students, faculty and industry partners.

Providing faculty flash talks will be Yagiz Aksoy, Manolis Savva, Arrvindh Shriraman and Sheelagh Carpendale, who was recently inducted to the IEEE Visualization Academy!

Both the flash talks and poster presentations will discuss a variety of topics in computing science, such as: systems architecture, computational photography, computer graphics, information visualization, and various other topics.

Event schedule:

12:00 p.m – 12:30 p.m: Reception

12:30 p.m – 1:30 p.m: Lunch

1:30 p.m – 2:30 p.m: Faculty flash talks

2:30 p.m – 4:30 p.m: Research poster session
