Have an inner flair for the dramatic? Ever wanted to perform Shakespeare on stage? Here's your opportunity! Stretch your thespian muscles, have fun, and help support one of the country's oldest Shakespeare education companies for young audiences in the 6th Annual Shakespeare Challenge in Toronto on May 4th, 2017!
This year, we are looking for a group of courageous community members (no acting experience required!) to volunteer their time to rehearse and perform an abridged version of one of Shakespeare's most beloved comedies, Much Ado About Nothing, at the Historic Arts and Letters Club of Toronto. Past members include CEOs, financial advisors, sales team leaders, real estate agents, and so many more talented members of our community!
All funds raised will go towards granting youth at risk in Toronto’s Neighbourhood Improvement areas access to the arts through Shakespeare in Action's educational programming.
For more details, visit the Shakespeare Challenge page on our website:
Upon registration, each champion will pay a tax deductible registration fee of $200.00, and will commit to attending scheduled rehearsals, and selling a minimum of 10 tickets to the final performance on May 3 and 4th, 2017.
The deadline to register is January 31st, 2017! Participants must be at least 18 years old to register.
Rehearsals for the Shakespeare Challenge will take place on Tuesday nights from 6:30—9:30PM on the following dates:
Feb 7th, 14th, 28th
Mar. 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th
Apr. 4th, 11th, 18, 25th

Thank you for your commitment and support! Without you, our work would not be possible!
