Description

You are invited:

Modernizing Canada’s payments systems: possibilities for the legal community

The digitization of the global economy is changing Canadians’ expectations for how they make and receive payments. To meet these needs, Payments Canada is developing a modern payments infrastructure. The Modernization of Canada’s payments systems brings opportunities to address current payments processing challenges faced by the legal industry. Join Payments Canada subject matter experts who will walk you through Modernization and discuss challenges and opportunities:

  • Understand coming changes to high value (including wire transfers) and possibilities for innovators
  • Learn more about potential impacts around the faster movement of money
  • Explore how Australia has addressed payments challenges for the legal community

We look forward to group discussions and hearing your feedback to help influence the Modernization journey.
