Share your voice on future changes at CBE high schools

We need your input and feedback on how the CBE can balance enrolment across 20 of our high schools. When student enrolment at a school is either too high or too low it affects student access, flexibility and choice in programming and extracurricular activities including athletics and clubs for students. It simply does not make sense to have several schools with an abundance of available space while many others are full beyond their capacity.

Engagement agenda

At 6:30 p.m., there will be a presentation outlining what is happening with CBE high schools across the city and highlighting facts and information unique to each school group (South, North/NE, Central/West and North/NW).

There will be time provided following the presentation for the following:

• Reviewing display boards about the schools included in the group, and connecting with subject matter experts about this information.

• Discussing and sharing your perspectives on ways to balance student enrolment.

Feedback received in the sessions will help us develop possible scenarios that balance enrolment and are sustainable into the future.
