Where: 6550 Bonsor Avenue, Burnaby, Bonsor Recreation Complex, Active Studio

This event is free for Volunteers and Service Providers who support seniors. Registration is required. Space is limited so please register by Monday, Sept 9. Refreshments and lunch will be provided. We encourage you to bring your own mug.

Am I eligible to participate in this Shared Learning Event? With limited seating, please register only if you are sure you will be attending for the full day.

Will there be options for my special dietary needs? Vegetarian and wheat-free options will be available. If you have severe food allergies, celiac disease or other unique dietary requirements we recommend that you bring your own food.

What if I am unable to make it to the workshop after all? It is important that you let us know if you will be unable to attend. We have just one workshop for this important topic. If you do not show up it means a lost opportunity for someone else. Please cancel your ticket on line, or email quenneville@familyservices.bc.ca as soon as you know you will be unable to attend.

What are my transportation options for getting to and from the event? From the Metrotown Skytrain station, it's a 7 minute walk to Bonsor Rec Centre. From the station, cross over towards Metrotown and turn right onto Central Boulevard. Follow this to Bonsor and turn left. The Rec Centre will be on your right.

Is there parking nearby? Parking is available at the Bonsor Rec Centre.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event? No.

Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends? Please let us know who will be attending in your place.

How can I contact the organizer with any questions? Please email Janet Quenneville at quenneville@familyservices.bc.ca or call 604-985-8713 if you require more information.

Notice of Photography and Filming: By entering and being a Shared Learning attendee, you are authorizing Allies in Aging to photograph, videotape, audio record, duplicate and/or otherwise record your image, voice and likeness to use, display, publish and distribute for any purpose on websites, publications, broadcasts, displays, social media, and any other medium and understand Allies in Aging will own these recordings.
