Sheridan Sustainability Speakers Series: Going Green to Survive and Thrive
Event Information
About this event
Join Sheridan College's Mission Zero and Green Team for our monthly Sustainability Speakers Series session! This event is being hosted and offered to the community at no cost to promote and encourage sustainability.
Each month, visiting speakers will share practical ways to live eco-consciously and thoughtfully on a variety of topics. The focus is on individual actions we can take to make an impact.
Our topic for December is Conscious Consumption - just in time for the holidays!
On Wednesday, December 8th from 12 - 1pm, we are excited to welcome Shrey Savale, a Waste Reduction Educator with EcoSource to talk about this issue. (https://www.ecosource.ca/)
In this session, Shrey Savale, will explore practical ways to take action toward becoming more conscious consumers through exploring the various impacts of consumerism and how purchasing patterns affect the sustainability of our natural environment.
