Event description

Description

Older adults contribute their time, energy and knowledge, across the province. They have families, jobs, and volunteer responsibilities that impact our culture and communities. They care for others, work on community projects, donate time and money to charitable causes, run businesses, participate in full- and part-time employment, and get involved in politics. They are leaders, guides and mentors, sharing a wealth of knowledge and experience.

Join us for an evening of discussions that will explore the contributions of older adults and the opportunities for an aging population in our province.

Sharon Davis-Murdoch, Co-President of the Health Association of African Canadians, Health Lead for the
Local Immigrant Partnership and Commissioner on the Independent Commission on Effective Electoral Representation of Acadian and African Nova Scotians,
Tom Emodi,
Owner & Principal, TEAL Architects + Planners, and Chantal Pelham-Edwards, founder and Principal of Third Sector Enhancement Ltd and Communications Coordinator for the Seniors Association of St. Margaret’s Bay, will inspire us with their experiences and perspectives.
