Welcome here, I’m Amanda. I'm a social worker, hypnotherapist, coach, yoga/meditation guide and end of life doula. I specialize in supporting those who are experiencing anxiety, loss and grief. I believe that death, loss and grief are not talked about often enough or fully understood/welcomed in our society and that this creates a feeling of isolation in our experiences. I come to my work with others from a place of the purest vulnerability and belief in our innate ability to fully live through loss. Having personally lost a number of important people in my life suddenly and tragically, I have experienced the life shattering effects of loss. Through a determination and ongoing relationship with myself and my experiences, I have witnessed transformations in myself and the way I show up in life. My deepest wish for you is that you learn how resilient you are and that you are able to live your life fully, despite the losses you have endured.
This group program is designed to shift our perspectives of life, death and what it truly means to be a human being who will experience deep and profound loss.
As human beings, we will experience loss and we will grieve.
Receiving support, gathering and having others to walk alongside you in a safe space can provide healing on a mind, body and soul level.
This group coaching program is for those who are moving through their unique grieving journey, all experiences of loss are welcome here.
Throughout this eight week program, you will be welcomed into a safe, respectful and nurturing space. Here, you will have the opportunity to share about your unique experiences, learn tools and techniques to process your emotions, shift your experience of loss and grief, and develop a deeper understanding for where you are and what you need to move forward in your life.
This program includes:
8 90 min live group sessions held over zoom, from 7-8:30pm CST.
Week One - February 9th : Welcome, sharing of who you are and your current reality with loss and grief.
Week Two - February 16th: How grief impacts our mind and mental health.
Week Three - February 23rd: Emotional health and wellbeing.
Week Four - March 2nd: Grief as a full body experience.
Week Five - March 9th: Soul care in grief.
Week Six - March 16th: Continuing bonds.
Week Seven - March 23rd: Creating a desired future while experiencing grief.
Week Eight - March 30th: An honoring of and thanking of those journied with in the group.

This group coaching program is for you if you are:
Looking for a safe space to share and heal from your experiences of loss and grief.
Wanting to share your experiences in an intimate community setting.
Open and feel you have the capacity to hold space for others.
Someone who believes in a holistic approach to wellbeing.
Looking to move forward with an integration of the loss and grief in your life.
I use an integrative approach in my coaching work. Some of the modalities that will be utilized in this program include, mindfulness, meditation/visualization, energy psychology and strengths based processes. This program will be offered through a trauma informed lens.
This group coaching program is not a substitute for individual grief counselling/therapy. I would be happy to speak with you about how I can support you in this way or refer you to another counsellor/therapist in your area. If you are struggling and feel you are at risk of harming yourself please contact 911 or your nearest crisis response center.
To create and foster the community of Shifting Your Grief, refunds will not be provided if you choose to end the group coaching program early. In registering to become a part of this group you are making the commitment to yourself and the others involved.
