Dr Stuart Shanker, from The MEHRIT Centre, will discuss screen time and the effects on children in our morning session. He will offer solutions based on his method for understanding stress and managing tension and energy.

Rebecca Parlakian, Senior Director of Programs for Zero to Three, will be presenting in the afternoon. Her discussion will include language development and taking a look at how adverse childhood experiences (ACE's) can effect a child's development.

Subsidy may be available to support the cost of supply staff during the full day conference, for all program staff working in child care and early years programs. Please contact sspriggs@childreach.on.ca for the reimbursement application. Applications will be considered on a first come first serve basis.

**For another great learning opportunity, check out the even being hosted by The London-Middlesex Quality Initiative on the evening of April 18th 2017 at the Wolf Perfomance Hall.
