Shinrin-Yoku Wednesdays @ Bechtel Park
Event Information
Description
Join Humans in Nature this fall for a 6-week nature therapy immersion experience. Nature therapy stems from the Japanese practice of Shinrin-Yoku, also known as “forest bathing”. It is the practice of spending time in nature with the purpose of enhancing health, wellness, and happiness. This six week program will help you experience new ways of interacting with the natural environment while you de-stress, rejuvenate and deepen your connection with nature. With the integration of mindfulness practices you will experience nature in new, wondrous ways. These walks have a slow, gentle pace with time spent as a group as well as independently. Come observe the seasons change and see all that the forest offers during this time of year.
