Shivaratri Meditation
Event Information
Description
22:30 to 00:00 – always 2 days before new moon
The sages use many methods to stay alert and attentive at all times. The lower mind (called Manas in Sanskrit) can stand in the way of our alertness and attentiveness, if we do not become conscious of it, and we let ourselves be controlled by lower instincts and the (collective) subconscious, with various disadvantages.
The time around new moon favors the stability of the lower mind and allows in this way access to the higher mental state of pure perception, which can extend and connect our consciousness to the universal mind (Shiva) and making it possible to experience as a result the essential truth behind any event in our life.
As the effects increase while meditating in a group at the same time, come and join us as we gather together every month to meditate with the occasion of Shivaratri, the „Night of Shiva“.
FOR FREE and without registration, entrance from 22:15 – 22:30
Note:
Please check our website if the meditation should be cancelled.
