Food is a strong tie to culture and helps to preserve traditions. At this cooking party, you will meet Shoaila . She will be joined by award winning Chef Cindy Lazarenko, part of the Culina Family Restaurants. Shoaila and Cindy will walk you through the preparation of falafels using methods that Shoaila has honed through mentoring and verbal traditions that will be shared with you.
A copy of the recipe will be provided before the class. A Food Kit with specialized ingrediants will be provided to ensure you have everything you need to cook along with us.
During the cooking party you will learn about Syria, join in a game with prizes and have fun with your family and neighbours. We hope you can join us!
