About this Event

Let's Talk About Water and the USask Media Production Unit Team are excited to host this free, virtual 'Shoot a Short' workshop on March 4 at 10am CST for any students ages 10-18 (and teachers of students) interested in creating films for the LTAW Youth Film Prize. Join us and walk away with all the tools and skills your students need to make fun and engaging short films about water!

About the LTAW Youth Film Prize: All film submissions for the Youth Prize must be made by teachers on behalf of eligible students. Teachers with students who wish to participate should indicate their student's intent to submit film(s) prior to March 15, 2021. If you are a teacher who isn't yet sure whether your students intend to submit films, sign up and join us during the workshop to learn more about the Youth Prize competition and what your students can gain from the experience!

Looking ahead: The deadline for final film submissions for the Youth Prize is April 30, 2021.
